Kaela Berg is a mom, a lifelong Minnesotan, a flight attendant, a union leader, and a Minnesota State Representative.
Like many Minnesotans, Kaela feels the pain of a Congress made up of multimillionaires. These out-of-touch politicians cut health care from over 10 million people and passed laws that raise costs on everything from groceries to utilities. They prioritize giving wealthy donors tax breaks at the expense of their voters’ livelihoods.
Kaela is running for Congress to fight for hardworking families because she understands the challenges our community faces firsthand. She has worked up to three jobs, bought groceries from the dollar store to feed her family, and lived without health insurance during a global pandemic.
As a flight attendant she found her first professional love: union organizing. She has since fought for livable wages and good health care, always putting working families first.
She took those skills to the Minnesota State House, where she has fought to fully fund our schools, prevent gun violence, protect health care, and end union busting.
Now Kaela’s running for Congress to take that fight to Washington—lowering the cost of groceries, health care, housing, and utilities, making the wealthiest pay their fair share, protecting health care access and strengthening our education system.
Private jet riders already have people fighting for them in Congress. It’s time for hardworking Minnesotans to have a champion like Kaela Berg.
